Lovely! I’m hoping to put a pond in my back garden in the coming weeks. I want a nice big one with lily pads and lots of fish, particularly goldfish and maybe a few koi. Yours seems nice and big and the fish look quite happy and content.

Do you have raccoons and herons? I live on Vancouver Island and they would make dinner of those fish.

Are you sure about that? 15×20ft and you say below it’s between 1.5 and 3 feet deep. When I plug those values into a pond volume calculator I get a much higher number. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 3300 gallons.

koimen @ 3:11 pm #

my pond has t widest parts are about 15 x 20 ft but again is the widest part, and is 80 % 1.5 and 20% 3 feet.

Cool video! (5 – STARS!)
Thanks for posting it!

I help run a free Pond share website.
It would be great to have some more pond people join in and share their pictures, videos, and stories.
