why dont you make a big pond when i worked at a water garden shop some guy bought 1783 spaure ft of pond tarp
Hello, I’ve built many big ponds over the last 15 years, but for this project they were not interested in a big pond, they wanted something small to sit by, so that’s what I built!
how much time would it be to do one like this but half the size, as a home project and what is the song? thanks
Hi, it is hard for me to say how long it would take you because there is so many variables in construction, but a typical pond like this would probably take a homeowner/hobbyist about 6 days, pehaps more. The song is “Take a Picture” by Filter
how deep is it
This pond is just under 3 feet deep.
I have a swiming pool kidny shaped pool and want to turn it into a koi pond you skiped over how to install the drainage under the tarps
Hey, yes I had to edit out that portion of the project to keep time down. Basically the old swimming pool had drainage and we tapped into that for our drainage using gravel channels to direct the water to the main drain. Thanks for watching!!
TO SMALL WHY NO USE THE WHOLE POOL
You’re growing salvia there? Wtf…
sorry, bt the sound level of yours videos are the worstss
@titnut4 Hey Titnut, thanks for checking out the videos. Its not THAT kind of salvia, it is an ornamental variety that gets nice blue flowers…a bit tamer than other varieties.
@reguesky Hi, I got to agree the sound is bad, I am trying ot upgrade my equipment this year for better video and sound quality, thanks for the feedback though, it gives me some resolve to get this done sooner than later, thanks for watching and commenting. -PH
im not too much of a fan of your ponds, you use may too many small rocks
@dkj1835 thanks for your comment. I can appreciate that the ponds we build may not appeal to everyone, thanks for your honesty. What you usually see in any of these videos are designs based upon what our customer wants to see and have in their pond, and based upon what they desire, that’s what we create. Maybe there are some other project videos of mine that you might find appealing, maybe not, but all the same thanks for watching!
Wow, it looks clear, I’ve never seen a manmade pond that’s clear like that and doesn’t use a liner.
@EddieBrockVenom Hey Eddie thanks for checking out the video and commenting, hope to hear from you again. This pond actually does have a liner in it, I used 45mil EPDM for the pond, and a skimmer biofalls filter system. Hey, if you are on facebook check out my LOVEYOURPOND page, see you there too! -PH
@thePondHunter Ahh thank you for the info. When I get a house soon (lol) I’m going to use your style of making a pond then. THanks!
@thePondHunter You can make me a pond any day….
@Ariegiggles Well now today would be a fine day! Thanks for watching and if you are on Facebook visit my The Pond Hunter page. Hope to see you there! -PH
@thePondHunter Haha I don’t even own a home to build a pond in. When I get older, and buy a home, I would be more than happy for you to build one
Until then, I dont have a pond to play in,
@EddieBrockVenom Ok Eddie, just be sure to send me pictures of you pond when you build it!
@Ariegiggles Advice, get a pond first, then worry about a home to live in
JK thanks for watching. Visit me on Facebook to at The Pond HUnter page or at LOVEYOURPOND page.

@EddieBrockVenom Thanks Eddie.
