V-Ray Materials Part 2, The Refraction Layer
Refraction means the change of direction of a ray of light in passing at an angle from one medium to another. With V-Ray the refraction layer is used to create glass or translucent materials. Fernando Rentas, ASGVIS 3D Artist & Trainer, will explain how to use the refraction layer to create glass or translucency materials in this video tutorial. Also see Part 1 of V-Ray Materials: The Reflection Layer bit.ly This video tutorial was recorded in the latest build of V-Ray for SketchUp (01.48.89). The same techniques apply to V-Ray for Rhino. Thank you, Fernando!
You are very welcome. It is a pleasure for me.
Why all the SketchUp love as of late? Rhino feels left out
@Lightwave123, the same techniques apply to Rhino!
@asgvis yeah I know… I actually think what you’re doing with these videos is great. Rhino just needs some love overall. Keep up the good work!
