Good thing they don’t live in NY state they have mink and the large bird that eats the fish.Love this pond very nice .I wonder do you need to have it fenced in in the state of NJ for insurance or safty of small children ?What are the rules on that do you know?

We get occasional visits from heron, from time to time we have defenses up!Regards to insurance on ponds: rules vary by state, most NJ installs addt’l insurance is not required as long as depth doesn’t exceed appr.30″, at 36″ it is considered a pool even though it’s not for recreational purposes/human immersion AND fencing needs to be put up! There are other considerations as well.

Hey that is absolutely terrific, beautiful ponds you got there!! My pond is pathetic, there are no filters so the water gets murky every time it rains. Sometimes it just gets dirty because of all the fish poop and other decaying matter(Fruits and leaves) i have no idea how i can maintain it. At one point of the water kept leaking out. The person i hired to do my pond did a terrible job.

great pond but my opinion is that the falls are a little small for such a giant beautiful pond

Do you need 2 pumps for each waterfall? Is there a way you can T off one pump? Thanks.

thePondHunter @ 5:01 pm #

@ritt99 Hi thanks for watching the videos and commenting. You do not have to use 2 pumps, you can definitely use one pump and tee it off for multiple outputs from one pump.
