59th Street Bridge Song – Simon and Garfunkel
This is a another groovy favorite by Paul Simon, sung by Simon and Garfunkel. 59th Street Bridge Song Slow down, you move too fast. You got to make the morning last. Just kicking down the cobble stones. Looking for fun and feelin’ groovy. Ba da, Ba da, Ba da, Ba da…Feelin’ Groovy. Hello lamp-post, What cha knowin’? I’ve come to watch your flowers growin’. Ain’t cha got no rhymes for me? Doot-in’ doo-doo, Feelin’ groovy. I’ve got no deeds to do, No promises to keep. I’m dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep. Let the morning time drop all its petals on me. Life, I love you, All is groovy.

The flower sequences were a nice break from the harsh reality of a Canadian winter. Thanks for a great old song and the warmth of the video!
The flowers, wind, and sun worked to help out on this one – sometimes you catch a break! Thanks for watching and commenting – glad you enjoyed it!
thank god someone uploaded the original song!….. and not some live crap with people yelling their lungs out in the background
While live performance recordings can be fun, I agree that the cleaner studio recordings are more satisfying, on the whole. Glad you like it. Thanks for watching and commenting.
You said it, yakovlev3a! But yes, the live ones are fun.
@squishy2302 Isn’t it? Glad you watched - thanks for commenting!
love the flowers is this your garden???
@birdman404 No, just a park space. I have an area in the back yard that needs to be completely replanted and I am thinking about planting some flowers there. The flowers shown here have a brief season each year, but are always nice while they last.
