The Purple Iris provides thick, bladed foliage and violet-blue blossoms through the summer, mainly May thru July. It is also referred to as the Harlequin Blue Flag and the Blue Flag Iris, but the color of the flowers is pale purple. This plant is very hardy and thrives in the pond margin environment. This video was recorded in 1080p and 760p/60fps (for the slightly slowed down fountains to fit the music) with a Kodak Zi8 pocket camcorder, on location in Québec city, Canada, considered by many as the most picturesque city in North America. Some of the scenes: house in rue de Bernières, the majestic Saint-Laurent river, flowers from a garden, Le Château Frontenac, the Centenary Fountain, the railway station (interior and exterior) and fountain.
