Making jumps, berms, ect. are the most fun thing you can make in your backyard. Our ladder bridge we finally mastered and our bank we wore in so much we could wait over a year for little grass to grow. We have made jumps on almost every thing around the neighbor hood including a sweet hip jump and a small jump resting on a drainage ditch. And trust me, our ladder bridge is a lot harder than it looks.

HSBC Treetop Walk MacRitchie Reservoir by: Farhana Selamat A wild date anyone? The HSBC Treetop Walk would be best for those who are fit for a good 11km hike and isn’t acrophobia. Located in the forest of MacRitchie Reservoir, the first Singapore’s reservoir, built in the 1860s. Back in the olden days, the MacRitchie Reservoir was a cultivation crops like gambier, pepper, rubber and a land of timber by the Chinese planters. Now only rubber trees and remnants of the plantations can still be seen along the borders around MacRitchie. The forest around the reservoir was protected as a water catchment reserve. Take a walk on the wooden boardwalks and trails skirting on the edge of the MacRitchie Reservoir and through the forest. Distances for these walks are ranging from 3 km to 11 km, but to get to the HSBC Treetop is a long walk, for about a 4 to 5 hours of walking. This can be considered to some, a moderate or difficult walk. You will come to explore of interesting freshwater wildlife, interesting plants such as the pitcher plants and the fascinating Ant plant. After a tiresome walk of 5 km in the forest, you will get to the highlight of the hiking routes in MacRitchie. This 250m and 27 metres suspension bridge high connects to 2 highest points which is the Bukit Pierce and Bukit Kalang.
