First are you serious about having a pond and are willing to take care of pond and the koi. Or are you fascinated about having the sound of rushing water… A koj pond is a hobby and it will take a some maintenance to keep up the ponds ecosystem for the first few years. A pondless waterfall is the same as the pond without the pond. You can have 3 foot waterfalls or a 20 foot stream running through your yard with out the pond. This version is kid safe for the most part, meaning there is no pool of water just a few inches flowing over rocks. they are great to play with. Back to ponds.
